Description
Aerial view of the Hill Inlet and whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island in the Whitsundays (Queensland - Australia). The extremely fine bright white sands and blue hues of the inlet blend to create a fantastic panorama. Whitehaven Beach sand is composed of 98% pure silica. The Whitsunday islands are a very popular destination for travellers to Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. The main access to Whitsunday island is by boat from Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour.
This image is available as canvas print, framed print, acrylic print, metal print, wood print or poster in a variety of sizes. I think I couldn't stop taking photos there........ I have been in Queensland several times, I always wanted to go to Whitsundays, but I haven't been there, unfortunately !!
Olivier Parent replied:
I have been there only twice. The Whitsundays are beautiful! Many photo opportunities there. But of course it is not the cheapest place on earth to spend a few days or weeks…

Simply great, Olivier !! Colors are outstanding !!
Olivier Parent replied:
Thank you very much Imi! The sandbank you see on top of the image is the end of Whitehaven beach, world famous for its pure, incredibly fine, crystal white silica sands that remain cool even under a blazing sun. Below are the turquoise, shallow waters of Hill Inlet at high tide.
