Description
Alaska - Denali mirrored in Reflection Pond. Reflection Pond, located near Wonder Lake at the western end of the Denali Park Road, is an iconic spot to see a reflection of Denali (formerly known as Mt McKinley) when the wind is calm and the waters are still. Buses travel that far into Denali only between early June and early September. Denali is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level.
Denali National Park and Preserve, formerly known as Mount McKinley National Park, is an American national park and preserve located in Interior Alaska, centered on Denali, the highest mountain in North America. The park and contiguous preserve encompass 24,464 km2.

Thank you so much Nicklas! The whole Wonder Lake area is absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed hiking through the arctic spongy tundra and I hope I will be able to get back there some day.
