Australia - the Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island in the Whitsundays. The Whitsunday Islands are 74 continental islands off the central coast of Queensland, Australia. The Whitsunday islands are a popular destination for travellers to Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. Whitsunday island, which features the white sands of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, is part of the Whitsunday group. Hill Inlet is a stunning inlet located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. As the tide shifts, the white sand and blue hues of the inlet blend seamlessly to create a breathtaking view. The 7 km long Whitehaven Beach is famous for its bright white and incredibly fine sands, consisting of 98% pure silica which does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot even on very hot days.

Thank you very much Jurgen! I wanted a picture showing Whitsunday island, a few other surrounding islands of the Whitsunday group, Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet of course, Tongue Point and Tongue Bay, and the Hill Inlet lookout… all in one frame… Aerial photography has to be a bit challenging ;).
