Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Australia - the Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island in the Whitsundays. The Whitsunday Islands are 74 continental islands off the central coast of Queensland, Australia. The Whitsunday islands are a popular destination for travellers to Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. Whitsunday island, which features the white sands of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, is part of the Whitsunday group. Hill Inlet is a stunning inlet located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. As the tide shifts, the white sand and blue hues of the inlet blend seamlessly to create a breathtaking view. The 7 km long Whitehaven Beach is famous for its bright white and incredibly fine sands, consisting of 98% pure silica which does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot even on very hot days.

About Olivier Parent
I studied art history and visual arts since the early 90's, then specialized in graphic design, visual communication and photography. Since 1999, I have been working as a photographer and graphic designer for clients from both the public and private sectors. As a photographer, I work on various kinds of projects, wether it is in the studio for commercial imagery, or outside shooting landscapes, concerts, aerial imagery, architecture, wildlife, abstracts... mostly commissioned work for regular clients. I wanted a picture showing Whitsunday island, a few other surrounding islands of the Whitsunday group, Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet of course, Tongue Point and Tongue Bay, and the Hill Inlet lookout… all in one frame… Aerial photography has to be a bit challenging ;).
